Comfort fit with Ortholite.
The Comfort Fit System is built upon a removable Ortholite foot bed that is breathable, long lasting and durable. Below the foot bed is a high-density polyurethane midsole which absorbs energy and provides cushioning.

Both Firefighting boots have coated felt mid sole, open cell foam insulation,
Stitched down lining to insure no liner pull-out, Ortholite foot bed, tibia protection, steel toe, stainless steel plate, steel shank, and rubber coated pull on loops.

Upper layers are rubber, filling, foam insulation, filling, and felt (lower leg) or canvas (upper leg). Boots have steel toe cap, midsole, and shank. This is a non NFPA certified boot.
